Living in Clare

Clare provides accommodation for all its undergraduate students. Applicants are welcome to visit the College and learn more about some of the exciting new developments that are taking place!

River Room Cafe coming in 2022

The River Room Cafe, with a terrace on the River Cam, will operate throughout the day. Combined with improvements to the existing Buttery, casual dining will be dramatically improved in the College. In turn, this will help ensure that the College remains a desirable home base for students at the centre of Cambridge.

What our students say about Clare...

Outside of my studies I enjoy playing piano, writing an opinion column for Varsity, getting involved in societies such as Students for Global Health, and joining debates surrounding identity at University.

This year I’ve really enjoyed getting involved with life at Clare, especially as Vice-President of the Union of Clare students, as well as with Clare's Gender Equality Movement trying to promote greater diversity!
