Sculpture in Memorial Court

Memorial Court is the location for a number of important pieces of 20th and 21st century sculpture. In early summer, Henry Moore’s ‘Falling Warrior’ appears to float on a sea of wild flowers next to the Forbes Mellon Library. At the front of Memorial Court, Robert Adams’ ‘Two (Opus 377)’ (on loan from the New Art Centre at Roche Court and Charles Jencks’ ‘Double Helix’ form focal points on the north and south lawns, respectively. The newest addition to the College’s sculpture gallery is Helaine Blumenfeld’s ‘HOMMAGE’, specially installed to mark the 50th anniversary of co-education, which is situated in Ashby Court.
